How we handle your information.
What we collect when you request an estimate, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Plain language — no fine-print games.
Dino Landscape Contractor Inc. (“Dino Landscape,” “we,” “us”) operates www.dinolandscapedesign.com and provides landscape and hardscape services across the South Shore of Massachusetts. This policy explains the personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Information you give us
When you submit a free-estimate request, we collect:
- First and last name
- Phone number and (optional) email address
- The service you're interested in and the city you're in
- Any project details you share in the message field
We don't ask for and don't want sensitive personal data — no Social Security numbers, no payment cards, no health information. Project payments, when applicable, are handled separately under the terms of your signed agreement.
2. Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate region
- Browser type, device, and operating system
- Pages visited, time on page, and referring URL
- Marketing identifiers passed through links you click — including Google Click ID (gclid) and UTM parameters — so we can measure which campaigns work
This data is used in aggregate to understand site performance and ad effectiveness, and is tied to a lead only when you submit the form.
3. Why we collect it
- To respond to your request. Your contact details let us call or email you back about your project.
- To prepare and deliver an estimate. The service, city, and project details help us scope and schedule the on-site walkthrough.
- To prevent spam and abuse. Cloudflare Turnstile inspects browser signals to confirm submissions come from real visitors.
- To improve the site and our marketing. Analytics tells us which pages help homeowners and which ad campaigns deserve more budget.
4. Service providers we share data with
We never sell your information. We share it only with vendors that help us run the site and follow up on your request. Each vendor is bound by their own privacy and data-protection terms:
- Vercel — website hosting and request logs.
- Supabase — stores your lead so our team can act on it from our internal CRM.
- Resend — delivers the notification email to our office inbox.
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and Turnstile anti-spam verification.
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads) — measures site traffic and ad performance.
- Quo / Google Workspace — phone, text, and email channels we use to reply.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our rights, or to protect the safety of our team or customers.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use first-party storage to keep marketing attribution across pages of your visit, and we use third-party cookies set by Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Cloudflare to measure performance and verify human traffic. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; some site functions — such as anti-spam verification on the form — may stop working if you do.
6. How long we keep it
Lead records are kept while a project is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support warranty claims, tax records, and repeat business. Analytics data is retained per the default retention windows of each provider. You can ask us to delete your record sooner — see your rights below.
7. Your rights
You may, at any time:
- Ask what information we have about you
- Ask us to correct an error
- Ask us to delete your record
- Opt out of further communications
To make a request, email info@dinolandscapedesign.com from the address on file or call (781) 678-4141. We'll respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Our services are directed to homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
When we update this policy we'll change the date at the top of the page and, for material changes, post a notice on the site. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
